Monthly Convergence         July 1st                10 am

This is a good time for you to get to know others and share your ideas with everyone. All members and children are welcome. Bring any item you want to swap—clothes and diapers your child has outgrown, baby food, coupons—anything you’d like to give to someone else. We will also be discussing the month’s activities as well as taking suggestions from you on all topics such as future events. This month’s Random Event Drawing (RED) is two adult admissions to The Heard Museum on July 19th. Snacks will be provided by the Sweet Peas playgroup.

Let’s Talk Politics                July 7th               10 am

I invite you all, with open mind and flowing thought, to come share your ideas for which we've all sought. Political correctness will go out the door, to be replaced by caring and sharing, and oh so much more. This month’s discussion topic will be the Military. Should women be permitted to fight in combat on the front lines? Should gays and lesbians be allowed to serve openly? Should deployment times be lengthened at the end of a soldier's term of service during war? I am sure everyone has strong opinions regarding these questions and I would love to hear differing worldviews. (Prior experience in the military not required to express your views.)
